SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
Please read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. If you do not
follow these instructions, your child’s safety may be at risk. Only install your 0+ Base on a front-facing seat fitted
with a 3-point safety belt to ECE R16 standard or equivalent

Installing the base in a vehicle
Place the base on the passenger seat or on the rear bench seat of the vehicle, with the anti-rebound bar against
the back of the car seat

. Pull and fasten the seatbelt

. Feed the entire length of the waist strap into the open-
ing located at the front of the base, under the anti-rebound bar

. Tighten the waist strap.
Important:
Always ensure that the handle of the Group 0+ car seat is locked in the upright position before install-
ing it in the 0+ Base

Position the Group 0+ car seat so that your child is facing the rear. Fix the Group 0+ car seat onto the base start-
ing with the anti-rebound bar side. Make sure that the hooks located near the anti-rebound bar are properly po-
sitioned inside the slots of the Group 0+ car seat shell

then tilt it back

and clip the Group 0+ car seat onto
the locking/unlocking handle side of the base. You should hear and feel a click

. Pull on the diagonal seatbelt
strap and feed it through the red guide located on the back of the base

. Make sure that the waist and diagonal
straps are not twisted and the belt is as tight as possible

. Check that the Group 0+ car seat is correctly locked
to the base by pulling on the carrying handle of the Group 0+ car seat. The Group 0+ car seat should stay firmly
secured on the base.
Removing the Group 0+ car seat from the 0+ Base
To remove the Group 0+ car seat, unfasten the diagonal strap from the red belt guide

, turn the red handle on
the back of the base and simultaneously remove the Group 0+ car seat using the carrying handle

Storing the instructions
Keep these instructions in the storage compartment located in the centre of the base

seat, adjusting the safety belt, adjusting the ergonomic handle and maintenance.

that apply to the Group 0+ car seat.
IMPORTANT
Your 0+ Base complies to
ECE R44/04
(the European child car seat safety standard) and must only be used in
combination with Group 0+
type B9
car seats (may be sold separately). Your car seat type is marked on the sticker
placed on the side of the Group 0+ car seat shell
