Listening to the FM Radio

Press the FUNCTION button to select “FM”.

Select the station you want to listen to.
Manual tuning
Turn the TUNING knob until you find the station that
you want to hear.
Automatic tuning
Press the AUTO SCAN button to begin automatic
tuning.

To scan a higher frequency station, turn the TUNING
knob in the "UP" direction and press the AUTO SCAN
button. To scan a lower freqency station, turn the
TUNING knob in the "DOWN" direction and press the
AUTO SCAN button.
When a station is tuned in, the tuning process will
stop automatically. Repeat this step until you find the
station that you want to hear.

After you tune in a station using the automatic
tuning, it is received in Mono mode. To switch to
Stereo mode, press the FM MODE button on the
remote control unit.
FM MODE button
Pressing this button alternates between Stereo mode
and Mono mode.
Stereo
FM stereo broadcasts are received in stereo and ST
indicator ( ) appears in the display.

If the sound is distorted and ST indicator ( ) blinks, the
signal is not strong enough for good stereo reception.
In this case, change to Mono mode.
Mono
To compensate for weak FM stereo reception, select
this mode. Reception will now be forced into monaural,
reducing unwanted noise.
If the reception is poor
Extend and turn the DAB/FM antenna to improve the
reception of a station.
