Cleaning the iron and base station
1.
Wipe the iron and base station as and when necessary with a slightly
dampened cloth.
2. Dry the iron and base station carefully.
Cleaning the water tank
1. Remove and empty out the water tank.
2. Fill the water tank to about two thirds full with fresh tap water and swill it
around carefully to loosen any impurities. Pour out the water.
Cleaning the pressurised steam container
1. Unplug the mains plug from the wall socket and take the iron off the base station.
2. Remove and empty out the water tank.
3.
Turn the base station over so you have
access to the cover of the pressurised steam
container lock on the bottom.
4. Undo the cross-head screw and open up the cover.

CAUTION
- material damage
Remove any limescale residue from the pressurised steam container
regularly and at least every three months.
WARNING
- risk of scalding
Hot steam will rise up when the hot pressurised steam container is
opened. Let the appliance cool down completely and empty the water
tank before unscrewing the lock on the pressurised steam container.
DANGER
- risk of fatal electric shock
No moisture must be allowed to enter the circular grooves around the
opening on the pressurised steam container.
However, if this does happen, place the base station in an upright posi-
tion and leave it to dry for at least twelve hours.
