Cleaning and storing

Cleaning the soleplate

If the iron does not glide smoothly, check the soleplate for limescale deposits or
other residues.

1. Wipe the soleplate with a slightly dampened cloth.

Limescale deposits can be removed using a cloth moistened with a mixture of
vinegar and water.

2. Dry the soleplate thoroughly.

CAUTION

Do not use caustic, aggressive or abrasive products for cleaning or
 descaling.

• Let the appliance cool down fully before cleaning it or putting it away.

• Unplug the appliance from the mains before you clean it.

8. Remove and empty the water tank. 

9. Replace the tank. 

10. Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
