Quick diagnosis of TBH extraction systems
Error description
Cause
Remedy
1
System does not start, no display on
the front panel
Power cable is not connected
Connect power cable
1
Fuse is not installed or defective
Check the fuses and replace them if required (Figure 2 Item 8)
1
Used electric socket doesn’t provide any voltage
Check the circuit breakers
1
Power switch in off position
Turn on the power switch
1
Incorrect mains supply voltage
Check supply voltage
1
Three-phase network without neutral conductor
Check the connection to mains power supply
2
System does not start, acoustic
warning signal, turbine error indicator
lights up
Turbine malfunction / failure
Turn off the system and contact the manufacturer or your regional
TBH sales team
2
Filter-saturation indicator lights up
(green+red)
Filter fully saturated
Decide by means of the filter status indicator (depending on the
type of system), which filter needs to be replaced and order a
replacement filter.
2
Temperature error indicator lights up
Temperature problem
Shut down the system and let it cool down. Check ambient
temperature and extraction hose (clogged, length/profile), restart
the system. In case the error remains unsolved, please contact the
manufacturer or your regional TBH sales team
3
System does not start, run/standby
button blinks
System is in standby mode
Push the run/standby button
3
Incorrect wiring of the interface
Attention: In part the interface is only available as an
option!
Check interface
Pin 7 = +
Pin 8 = -
In case there is a jumper between the pins 9 and 10, the remote
control is dominant; use remote control to switch the system into
run mode
4
System works, yellow warning lamp
blinks, filter saturation indicator lights
up (green+yellow)
Filter partially saturated (depending on the type of system,
the filter affected is displayed in yellow)
Green
– filter saturation is O.K.
Yellow
– order replacement filters
Red
– filter fully saturated; replace it
5
The rotational speed cannot be
adjusted at the system
Remote control collected, external speed control (pins
14+15)
Attention: In part the interface is only available as an
option!
External speed control is dominant and has priority over manual
adjustment of the rotational speed
6
The rotational speed cannot be
adjusted via interface
System speed control is dominant
Attention: In part the interface is only available as an
option!
External speed control is dominant and has priority over manual
adjustment of the rotational speed
7
No / low extraction performance, filter
saturation indicator does not indicate
demand for filter replacement
Clogged, defective, kinked or unconnected intake piping
Clean or replace intake piping
7
Incorrectly set extraction performance
Increase extraction performance using the speed controller (front)
or the remote control
7
Defective motor / control system
Contact your regional TBH sales team
8
Rough system operation or strong
vibrations
Defective motor bearing
Replace motor or contact regional TBH sales team
8
Remove impurities from the motor fan wheel
Check filter for leakiness and contact your regional TBH sales team
if necessary
