4.0 FLOW CHARACTERISTICS
At each fl ow setting, the nozzle is set to a predetermined fi xed orifi ce. Relationship of fl ow and nozzle pressure at each setting is
shown in fi gures 4A and 4B.

These trajectories, reach, and reaction numbers are provided for reference. All data based on 30 degree nozzle discharge angle, in
straight stream setting. Actual trajectories, reach, and reactions may vary with wind conditions, discharge angle (elevation), stream
setting, fl uid type, fl uid/water ratio, fl uid temperature, pressure, and fl ow at the nozzle. It is the operator’s responsibility to determine
that the system provides adequate reach for the intended purpose.
