Using a PC with MCR-4V

Connecting the Device to a PC

1.

Open MCR for Windows from the Start Screen or Start Menu.

2.

Connect the device with the supplied USB cable to your computer.

The USB driver installation will start automatically.

IMPORTANT

-Make sure to install the software MCR for Windows before connecting the MCR-4V

to the computer.

-The USB device driver must be installed before trying to carry out USB

communication. After installing the USB device driver, your computer will be able to

detect and recognize any MCR-4V unit that is connected with a USB communication

cable.

-When connecting a MCR-4V to a PC, connect only one unit at a time. If you connect

multiple units at the same time, they may not be recognized properly.

USB Communication Cable

(US-15C)

When the USB driver installation completes, on the upper right corner

of the software screen, you will see an icon showing the PC and

MCR-4V connected via USB.

IMPORTANT

If you don't see this icon, the USB driver may not have been installed correctly. Please

see [Help for Unit Recognition Failure] in the Help menu, and check the USB driver.
