The following section describes the procedure for setting up the Low Speed (LS) data service on the

5.4.5.4.1 Setting up the data service:
In the
Advanced

menu: enter the
LS Data
menu.

The data service provided with the TT1200 must be configured in a purely manual way. The data
PID must be known to the operator. This PID is manually typed in as the
Aux PID
and the
Mode
can be either
Manual
or
Format II
which is an encoder specific format that you will have to
contact Tandberg Television to be able to use.

The
Output

Communication
menu allows for the physical communication interface to be
configured. The baud rates supported go from 1200 to 115.2kbaud. Parity is either not used or even
or odd. The number of data bits available is 5 to 8, and stop bits are 1, 1.5 or 2.
Baud rates: 1200 to 115.2k
Parity: off, even or odd
Data bits: 5, 6, 7 or 8
Stop bits: 1, 1.5 or 2
