After inserting the Mediaguard smart card into the decoder, the Mediaguard consultation menu is
enabled through CA-Module in the main menu as shown in Figure 30.

5.5.4.2.3.1
Operator
On a Mediaguard smart card there may be several zones available, where one zone contains data from
one service operator. The current Operator is displayed in the CA-MODULE. To select from the
available Operators, select the OperatorID menu entry and use the up and down arrow keys to scroll
through the Operators on the card.
The Mediaguard consultations sub-menus (those below OperatorID in the CA-MODULE menu) present
information stored in the card according to selected Operator.

Operator info
The parameters in this menu have the following meanings:

ID of selected operator
1DPH
Name of selected operator.
&DUGDGGU
Smart card address stored for the selected operator. May differ from one operator to
another.
*HRDGGU
Address of the region to which the smart card belongs. May be used by the operator
for authorising smart cards that belongs to certain geographical areas.

Subscriptions
The Subscriptions menu shows all offers to which the smart card has access for this subscription. The
menu also shows the expire date of the subscription.
