4.11.6. Firmware Upgrade
The Firmware Upgrade page is used to update phone to new firmware releases.
Login → Maintenance → Firmware Upgrade

To upgrade the firmware:
1.
Select ‘FTP’. Firmware upgrade through HTTP is not supported as of yet.

Enter the
FTP Server IP Address
,
Username

, and
Password

for authentication. If the
username and password is preferred to be retained for a future upgrade, select the
Save Username
and Password
check box.
3.
In the
Filename
box, enter the filename with its complete path. If the file is saved in the home
directory of the ftp server, then enter ONLY the filename and NOT the complete filepath. The
filename is generally in the format of (EVP_A_B_C_D). If the firmware upgrade file is
not
in the
home directory of the ftp server, then this filename needs to be prefixed with directory relative to the
FTP root directory. For example, /ftp/EVP_images/EVP_1_0_0_0). Consult the Administrator for
FTP settings.
