3.6 Connection of a decoder

The terminal board (AF OUT/IN) is provided so that a decoder of secrecy broadcasts,
such as Kyodo News (JJC), can be used.    Turn ON the DIP-switch S2 (marked “DEC”)
on BK board (inside the unit, attached to the terminal board) .    Turn the power switch
OFF and ON again after connection and S2 switch-ON.  The channel as which “D” is
indicated on the lower right of the display shows that the signal comes through a
decoder.  Even if “D” is not displayed, select "DECORDER-ON" at registration of new
frequency with reference to 1.4.4 to receive a signal through a decoder.
