3.1
Installing the Software
The ET software is provided on the product CD supplied with the T801-4.
1.
Insert the product CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2.
Locate the “ENG_TERM” folder on the CD.
3.
Copy the executable file (for example “PC0672011.exe”) to a folder
of your choice on your PC.
4.
Double click the file to run the software (or create a Windows
shortcut).
3.2
Connecting and Logging On
1.
Connect the T801-4 to an appropriate GPS receiver or antenna.
2.
Using the supplied cable, connect a serial port on your PC to the
appropriate programming port on the T801-4 front panel. This cable
is an ordinary (straight through) RS-232 cable and is available
separately (order code TBA0P10).
3.
Power up the T801-4.
4.
Run the ET software. The following screen appears.
5.
Close the Connect dialog box. Select Options > COM Port and
select the correct COM port.
