Special keys
Refer to Figure 3-16 for the locations of the keys
described in this section.
[Esc]
The Escape key allows you to cancel any specific com-
mand you may have just keyed in. For example, if you
mistakenly hit the function key, [F1], in your word
processor or spread sheet program, but want to “cancel”
the command so that the computer will ignore the func-
tion key, just press [Esc].
[Enter]
While using application software, the purpose of this key
is similar to a typewriter's return key, pressing this key
will position the blinking cursor to the beginning of the
next line on the display screen.
