6. INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 General
All parts and accessories are packed and shipped with appropriate measure to ensure that
everything is protected during transportation.
The installation team must be familiar with the installation requirements, to exercise due care in
handling and to prevent damage to the equipment.
The following instructions are in addition to and conform to any state and municipal regulations
which may apply. These instructions do not cover all features concerning HVAC installation or
methods of procedure.
The installation must be performed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications using only
approved tubing, original cables and original accessories.
6.2 Lifting the Units
Handle the units with due care and follow safe lifting practice!
•
Use only adequate slings to the task.
•
Load should be well secured.
•
Hoist line must be vertical prior to the lift. Remove slack in the hoist slowly!
•
Do not lift load over people. No one should be under the hoist load.
CAUTION: Textile slings are susceptible to damage by sharp corners on the load to be lifted.
Caution must be taken to ensure that slings are not damaged by sharp corners or by excessive
loading.
Use suitable spreaders for lifting as seen in the following figures.
