3. After the adjustment, fix the choke bolt with lock
nuts. After the choke bolt is fixed, check again if
the stroke difference between the right and left
cylinders is 30 mm (1.2 in) or less.
3.2 Adjustment with counterweight
(regular adjustment)
1. Connect the counterweight cylinder rod end and
the slewing table with the pin. Retract the
cylinders with the counterweight. (The
counterweight is raised.) Check the stroke
difference between the right and left cylinders.
A retracting cylinder is assumed to reach its stroke
end when the upper face of the counterweight is
7 mm (0.28 in) before from the lower face of the
slewing frame.
(When retracting the cylinders, check the
clearance D in the picture below.)
