There is no facility to edit a character once
it has been confirmed. On completion of
entry of up to 18 digits, press the
YES
button to save the changes, and the
NO
button to abort the changes:

Loopback
The C310xr can be configured to provide
an internal digital loopback of the com-
pressed audio signal prior to the X.21 /
ISDN interface. A loopback of the receive
signal also occurs as a result, enabling the
units to be tested independently. The
loopback function will automatically use
the highest data speed supported.

TE : The loopback function is not available when
operating in Dial On Audio, Backup Master, or
Backup Slave modes.
ISDN Country Options
There are a number of ISDN parameters
associated with different countries and
regions in the world, these can be readily
re-configured on the C310xr Codec.

Password Protection
The C310xr has two levels of password
protection to avoid accidental re-configu-
ration, the user can view all configuration
menus but is not allowed to make any
changes - the
YES
button is disabled. Edit
Lock enables ISDN calls to dialled and
hanged. Full Lock disables ISDN dial and
hang, however, incoming ISDN calls will
be answered.

STATUS : Not Set
The
button is used to edit the Password
Level to one of the following: Not Set, Edit
Lock or Full Lock. The display changes as
follows:

Simple Menu
The Simple Menu option allows the user to
select the ISDN audio mode and enter the
ISDN telephone numbers quickly without
having to go through the full menu struc-
ture. The original advance menu options
are accessible by disabling (Off) the Simple
Menu mode. Therefore, parameters such
as sub-addressing and CLI can be specified
if required.

disable (Off) the Simple Menu. Press the
YES
button to confirm, and the
NO

to abort.
Last Caller Identification
The C310xr can store the ISDN telephone
number of the last incoming call. This
feature requires Caller Line Identification
(CLI) to be enabled on the ISDN line,
which is usually provided as an option
when the ISDN line is installed. If Caller
Line Identification (CLI) is not enabled,
then the following will be displayed:
MENU : Caller ID
Null
If Caller Line Identification (CLI) is ena-
bled, then the ISDN number will be
displayed:
