NOTE: The user is advised to ensure the DCE
connector of the X.21 cable is terminated correctly.
NOTE: X.21 Interface is not NET 1 approved.
Remote Trigger
The Remote Trigger input operates by
connecting the Remote Trigger (Pin 11) to
GND and holding the connection. This
instructs the C310xr to dial the ISDN
using the current selected patch configu-
ration. To hangup the ISDN call, discon-
nect from GND.
Trigger Voltage : less than 1.0V DC
The Remote Trigger can be Wire-Or
connected for multiple remote trigger
access, e.g. several studios sharing a
single C310xr unit.

Auxiliary Data Port
The RS232 terminal interface can support
auxiliary bidirectional transmission of
asynchronous data at selectable baud
rates.
NO
TE: The CTS output signal should be used for
Flow Control when Auxiliary Data is enabled.
Alarm Signal
The C310xr provides a dual set of alarm
relay contacts with a minimum of 0.5
second duration. These relay contacts are
provided on the same physical connector
as the auxiliary data interface.
For physical connection information,
please refer to the pinout detail of the
auxiliary data connector.
