Loopback
The C310xr can be configured to provide
an internal digital loopback of the com-
pressed audio signal prior to the X.21 /
ISDN interface. A loopback of the receive
signal also occurs as a result, enabling the
units to be tested independently. The
loopback function will automatically use
the highest data rate available.
MENU : Loopback
STATUS : Loop Off
The button is used to select the
Loopback Mode, the display changes as
follows:
EDIT : Loopback
OPTION : Loop On
The and buttons can be used to
scroll through the options:
OPTIONS : Loop On, Loop Off
Press the
YES
button to save the changes,
and the
NO
button to abort the changes:
MENU : Loopback
STATUS : Loop On
NO TE : The loopback function is not available when
operating in Dial On Audio, Backup Master, or
Backup Slave modes.
ISDN Country Options
There are a number of ISDN parameters
associated with different countries and
regions in the world, these can be readily
re-configured on the C310xr Codec.
NO TE : It is important that the ISDN line should be
disconnected from the C310xr Codec before any
changes are made.

The C310xr can be re-configured to
operate on 1 of 12 International ISDN
Standards.
MENU : ISDN Country
STATUS : EURO ETSI
The button is used to select the ISDN
Country / Standard, the display changes
as follows:
EDIT : ISDN Country
OPTION : EURO ETSI
The and buttons can be used to
scroll through the options:

New Zealand
China*
Eire
France VN3
Israel*
Japan
Australia*
Holland
DMS100 (USA)
Custom 5ESS (USA)
National 1 (USA)

Press the
YES
button to save the changes,
and the
NO
button to abort the changes.
Then confirm the change by pressing
YES
and wait while the C310xr is configured for
the new ISDN Country:

ISDN SPID 1 to 2 (USA Only)

The button is used to edit the ISDN
SPID Codes which are required for opera-
tion in the USA (National 1, DMS100 &
Custom 5ESS). The display changes as
follows:
EDIT : ISDN SPID 1
The and buttons can be used to
scroll through 0 - 9, the numerical keypad
can also be used for entry. The
button
confirms the character selection and
moves to the next character position.
