Nomenclature
Explanation
POWER SWITCH
Allows GoWide to be turned ON or OFF.
AC POWER
A receptacle for the power cord.
RESET SWITCH
Returns GoWide to factory settings.
ETHERNET PORTS
Allows GoWide to establish a connection directly to a computer from any of its four
ports. An RJ-45 straight cable is provided and the modem has auto-crossing capability.
Therefore, connection to a computer or a hub can be made without changing the RJ-45
cable. Each of the four ports has two LEDs. The green LED remains on when linked to an
active Ethernet port and will blink when there is traffic. The yellow LED indicates the
speed utilized by GoWide. It will be lit when the speed is at 100 Mb/s and will be off
when the speed is 10 Mb/s.

RJ-11 port for DSL connection and requires an RJ-11 cable (provided).
