Internet Access Configuration
Note:
The figures illustrating Internet access configuration are Windows 98 screen
captures. For Windows 95/NT 4.0/2000/XP, please refer to the appropriate user
manual.
To configure a PC to access the Internet, do the following:
1. Ensure that there is still a TCP/IP connection to the GoWide 4.6. If not, refer to the
PC Configuration section.
2. Using the TCP/IP Properties page, check that the installed Gateway IP address
has not changed. See Figure 74.
Note:
In Gateway mode, the Gateway IP address is the same as the GoWide 4.6 LAN
port IP address.

3. Click the IP Address tab and select Obtain an IP address automatically . See
Figure 75.
