Step Procedure

Select RFC1483 in the System Menu (Figure 66).

Enter the VPI value in the VPI field.

Enter the VCI value in the VCI field.

Select the Quality of Service type: UBR (default setting), CBR , or VBR . A pop-up screen appears. Enter the
appropriate information.

Select the Encapsulation type: LLC (default setting) or VCMUX .

If obtaining an IP automatically is desired, click the Obtain an IP automatically box under Local IP .
Otherwise, enter a value for the Local IP in the provided field.

Enter the values for Subnet Mask and Gateway in the provided fields.

Select either Set as Default Route or Edit Routing Table under Routing Table ( Set as Default Route is the
default setting).

If NAT is desired, click the NAT box under Advanced .

Click the Apply button if all data is correct.
