cannot be established. SIM card is not installed. See Installing a SIM Card on page 1-23 for
detailed instructions.
Network is busy. Try again after 5 minutes.
Poor signal/out of
coverage. Ensure that the area you are in is covered
by your network provider.
If you are receiving a poor signal, relocate to
an area that provides better signal.
GPRS parameters are
entered incorrectly. See GPRS Parameters Configuration on
page 10-4 for detailed parameter
information.
Band is set incorrectly. See Change Band Screen on page C-8 for
correct band information.
No sound is audible. Volume setting is low or
turned off. Check the System Volume slider in the
Sounds & Reminders properties dialog
box (under Start - Settings) to ensure the
volume is not turned down or off.
Terminal turns itself off. Terminal is inactive. Your terminal turns off after a period of
inactivity. If the terminal is running on battery
power, this period can be set from 1 to 5
minutes, in one-minute intervals. If the
terminal is running on external power, this
period can be set to 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, and 30
minutes.
Check the Power dialog box (in the System
tab under Start - Settings), and change the
setting if you need a longer delay before the
automatic shutoff feature activates.
Battery is depleted. Replace the battery.
Battery cover is
removed. Replace the battery door.
