Note:
Use the rubber feet provided for desk mount installations only
Use only CAT 5 Ethernet cable without molded or integrated
strain relief on the connector that interfaces with an Access
Port. If a similar Access Port is daisy chained connect the
Ethernet cable from the ACC port to the LAN port on the daisy
chained device.
The Access Port receives power from an Ethernet cable or from a Symbol approved power
supply. It supports the following Symbol-branded Power-Over-Ethernet devices and power supply.

Model AP-PSBIAS-T-1P-48 1-Port Power Port
•
Model AP-PSBIAS-T-12-AF 12-Port Power Port
The Access Port provides power to similar 802.11a/b devices via Ethernet cable and can provide
power to converted legacy Access Points, using an Ethernet Power converter box (AP-PCNV-
4818).
Review installation plans to determine device placement and cable routing.
