In the Content window, under Blocking by file name, check
Delete
attachments with the following file names (one per line)

Even though the blocking list is populated with default file names to be
blocked, Symantec Mail Security for SMTP will not block attachments with
those file names unless you check

Type the file names that you want to block. Type one file name per line
using the following format:
badnews.doc
You can use * for the file name or the extension.

To delete a default file name, select and delete the file name.

If an attachment is deleted, add the following text to the message

You can customize the message, if needed.

Blocking by container file limits
You can configure Symantec Mail Security for SMTP to protect against denial-
of-service attacks that are associated with overly large container files that take a
long time to decompose, or with files that contain multiple compressed files.
Note:
Each message is treated as a container, meaning that the settings apply on
a per message basis instead of on a per attachment basis. MIME headers are
considered files.
