Configuring the spam quarantine
2 Edit the user notification template, the distribution lists notification
template, or both using the following variables:
3 In the Notification format drop-down list, select one of the following:
%NEW_MESSAGE_COUNT% Number of new messages in the user’s spam
quarantine since the last notification
message was sent.
%NEW_QUARANTINE_MESSAGES% List of messages in the user’s quarantine
since the last notification was sent. For each
message, the contents of the From, Subject,
and Date headers are printed. View and
Release links are displayed for each message
if they are enabled and you have chosen
Multipart or HTML notification format.
%QUARANTINE_DAYS% Number of days that messages in the
Quarantine will be kept. After that period,
messages will be purged.
%QUARANTINE_URL% URL that the user clicks to display the
quarantine logon page.
%USER_NAME% User name of the user receiving the
notification message.

Send a notification message in MIME
multipart format. Users will see either the
HTML version or the text version,
depending on the type of email client that
they are using and the email client settings.
The View and Release links do not appear
next to each message in the text version of
the summary message.
HTML only Send the notification message in MIME type
text/html only.
Text only Send the notification message in MIME type
text/plain only.
If you select Text only, the View and Release
Links do not appear next to each message in
the summary message.
