- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Do not place open flames (e.g burning candles) on or next to the product.
• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
• Recharge the camera battery at least once every three months, otherwise it may
over-discharge and become unusable.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) USB power supply unit
• The power supply unit complies with IEC Protection Class II (double-insulated
electrical appliances).
• The mains socket for the power supply unit should be close to the camera and
easily accessible.
• Do not unplug the power supply unit by pulling on the cable.
• Do not touch the power supply unit if it is damaged, as this may cause a fatal
electric shock!
Begin by fully disconnecting the mains voltage for the mains socket to which the
power adapter is connected (e.g. turn off the corresponding circuit breaker or un-
screw the fuse, and then turn off the residual current circuit breaker). Then unplug
the power adapter from the mains socket and take the product to a specialist
repair centre.
• Only use the power supply unit in dry, enclosed indoor areas. It must not get
damp or wet.
This may result in a fatal electric shock!
• Protect the cable from sharp edges and do not squash it.
