Reset handset
Reset the handset to default status.
Note
A handset reset deletes all handset settings, the redial list, all entries in the local
phonebook and the registration to the base station.

Reset base
Reset the base station to default status.
Important
If you want to give or sell the base station to another person, please reset the device
before doing so.
BEFORE resetting, unplug the Ethernet cable and do NOT plug it in again. This is the
only way to ensure that your telephone data are deleted in the Swisscom Rousseau
10 and prevents the next user making calls at your cost.
Note
In case you use Swisscom Rousseau 10:
The reset is PIN-protected and deletes all base settings, the missed and answered calls
list and all entries in the central phonebook. The handsets are deregistered, the sys-
tem PIN is set back to 0000.

You can view the actual software version of your handset or base.
