Phonebook
You can store up to 250 names and numbers in the local phonebook on each handset.
Every entry contains a first and last name and up to 3 telephone numbers (e. g. fixed
network, mobile, office). First and last names can be up to 12 letters each long and num-
bers up to 24 digits long.
Local phonebook
Adding a new entry
If the telephone is in idle mode:
1. Press the softkey under
NAMES
. The entries are displayed in alphabetical order.
2. Press the softkey under
OPTIONS
. Select
NEW ENTRY
and enter the first and last name
and the numbers (max. 3). Scroll down using the navigation key
, assign the
desired
ringer melody
to the phonebook entry and set "Call anonymous" to "On" if you
wish to withhold your number when calling, confirm the entry.
Note
• If the phonebook is empty, a message to this effect is displayed, an alert signal is
heard and
NEW ENTRY
and
COPY FROM CENTRAL
appears (see chapter "Copying the
central phonebook to the local phonebook").
Tips for entering names/numbers
• Press
to enter a space,
or
to enter a symbol
• The available special characters appear in the lower display line. Press the relevant key
repeatedly to scroll through the characters.
• When entering names, you can press
to switch between upper and lower case
lettering.
