Take 2 pieces of heat shrink and install over the wires before soldering the LED to the cable.

Start first by installing the red LED since the red heat shrink has been applied to the cables, take
note of the longer LED hard wire as this is the + / Positive side in which the red wire needs to be
soldered to this LED leg. Trim this leg down to about 12mm.
