10.2) ADJUSTMENT OF TRIMMER RETURN SPRING LOCATION
10.2.1) Functions of Trimmer Return Spring
The trimmer return spring is an auxiliary device which makes the moving blade return to the original position.
If the machine operates without the proper return of the moving blade, it may cause damage to needles and the
moving blade. Therefore, this functions to assist the moving blade to be properly located and thereby protect
the embroidery machine.
10.2.2) Adjustment

When the moving blade is properly located, loosen the tightening nut to set the distance between the
tightening nut and the spring hanger hole at 12mm. Turn the first spring hanger to adjust the return spring
tension, and then tightly fasten the tightening nut.

When the first spring hanger is turned clockwise, the return spring tension increases. Otherwise, the return
spring tension decreases.

10.3) ADJUSTMENT OF PICKER
If the picker is improperly located or the picker's
entry is insufficient, the lower thread to be cut
during trimming and the upper thread to remain on
the needle cannot be separated. Then the both
threads are trimmed, and the remaining upper thread
after trimming gets too short.

Adjustment of Picker Location
Manually move the picker until it reaches the
bobbin. As in the figure, loosen the tightening
screw for the picker and adjust to make the tip of
the picker properly located.

Adjustment of Picker Entry
Loosen the tightening screw for the picker stopper
until the picker slightly touches the bobbin when
the picker is pressed by hand. Use the L-wrench
to adjust the position of the picker stopper.

When the stopper is turned clockwise, the
distance between the bobbin and the tip of the
picker gets wider. Otherwise, it gets closer.
