8.6) ADJUSTMENT OF NEEDLE AND HOOK TIMING AND OTHER RELATED INFORMATION
8.6.1) Needle
1) It is important to choose needles in line with embroidery fabric and thread used.
2) If inappropriate needles are used, poor embroidery conditions, frequent thread breaks, and thread
skipping might occur.
3) In general, use DBxK5 needle for embroidery.
8.6.2) Relations Between Needle and Thread
1) If proper needles are not chosen for the thread used, thread break and thread skipping might occur. The
embroidery condition will be negatively affected as well.
2) The table below shows the types of needles and thread used for embroidery.
