Instrument Setup

8.6 Instrument Setup

This section describes the act of operating, testing and
adjusting the system for the first time to ensure that it functions
according to the specified performance.

8.6.1 Preparatory
Tasks

Check

Transmitter cover

closed.

WARNING

Before setting up the instrument, make sure the transmitter
cover is closed, the 4 captive screws tightened.

Power available.

Pumps and valves are in working order.

Sample pipe, strainers and filters are flushed and clean.

No foreign matter allowed in the sample supply line!

Sample flow must be sufficient to setup and operate

the instrument.

ATTENTION

Make sure the sample conforms with the specifications!
