If
Function
is set to
Alarm Pulse
the
Active Level
and
Hold Time
positions
appear.
The
Active Level
parameter defines which level of the signal should be treated
as a valid one, with “negative” or “positive” logic:
Low
or
High
.
The
Hold Time
parameter defines the minimum duration of the alarm signal.
4.3.12.7 Setting up reference levels
– Reference Levels
The
Reference Levels
position opens the
screen in which you can set the reference levels
for the vibration acceleration, velocity and
displacement. The values, which are set here,
are considered during the calculations of the
measurement
results
expressed
in
the
Logarithmic
scale (with the
dB
as the units).
<ENT>
You can set the reference level of acceleration signal from
1
µms
-2
to
100
µms
-2
, velocity signal from
1 nms
-1
to
100 nms
-1
and displacement signal from
1 pm
to
100 pm
.
The reference level for sound measurements cannot be changed.
4.3.12.8 Setting the RMS detector type
– RMS Detector
The
RMS Detector
position opens a screen in
which you can select the RMS detector type:
Lin
or
Exp
.
<ENT>
4.3.12.9 Configuring the serial interface
– RS232 Setup
The
RS232
position opens a screen in which you
can select the RS 232 interface transmission
speed (
Baud Rate
) and set the time limit during
which the data transfer should be performed
(
Time Out
).
<ENT>
The RS 232 interface transmission speed (
Baud Rate
) can be selected from the following available values:
1200
,
2400
,
4800
,
9600
,
19200
,
38000
,
57600
or
115200
bits per second. Other RS 232 transmission
parameters are fixed:
8 bits for data, No parity & 1 Stop bit.
4.3.12.10 Selecting vibration units
– Vibration Units
The
Vibration Units
position opens a screen in
which you can select the units for the vibration
results:
Non-Metric
(e.g. g, ips, mil etc.) or
Metric
(e.g. m/s
2
, m/s, m etc.).
<ENT>
