The required

To set the correct date, select its position in the

to confirm the selection.

To set hours, minutes or seconds, enter the

4.3.12.5 Setting up the external power parameters
– External Power
The
External Power
position opens a screen in
which you can enable the function of automatic
instrument turning off (
Power Off
) due to low
external power voltage (
Limit
).
If
Limit
is higher than the voltage of the external
power source the special warning will appear,
and the instrument will be turned off.

4.3.12.6 Programming I/O port functionality
– Ext. I/O Setup
The
Ext. I/O Setup
allows you to select the
function of the instrument’s
I/O
socket. This
socket can work as:
•
output of the analogue signal (
Analog
)
transmitted from the input channel of the
instrument (
Channel
) to its output without
any digital processing (i.e. frequency
filtering);

•
input of the digital signal used as an external trigger to start the measurements
(
Digital In
). The i
nstrument acts in this case as a so called “slave instrument”.
The
Function
parameter is set to
Ext. Trigger
;
•
digital output (
Digital Out
) used for triggering another “slave instrument” (the
instrument is acting in this case as a “master instrument”) (
Trigger Pulse
), or
as a source of any alarm signal in the case of certain events occurred during
the measurements (i.e. the alarm lamp) (
Alarm Pulse
).
If
Function
is set to
Trig. Pulse
the
Polarisation
parameter appears on the
screen. Polarisation of the trigger pulse can be
Positive
or
Negative
.
