ENGINE OIL AND FILTER CHANGE
Change the engine oil and oil filter at the
scheduled time. The oil should be changed
when the engine is warm so that the oil will
drain thoroughly from the engine. The pro-
cedure is as follows:
1. Place the motorcycle on the center
stand.
2. Remove the oil filler cap

3. Place a drain pan under the drain plug.
NOTICE
Operating the motorcycle with too little
or too much oil can damage the engine.
Place the motorcycle on level ground.
Check the oil level with the engine oil
dipstick before each use of the motorcy-
cle. Be sure the engine oil level is always
above the “L” (low) line and not higher
than the “F” (full) line.
