ENGINE COOLANT
The engine coolant level should be kept between the
“F” (Full) and “L” (Low) level.
Inspect the level with the motorcycle held vertically on
level ground.
A: Engine coolant reservoir
If the level is lower than the “L” (Low) level, add the
properly mixed engine coolant as follows.
Remove the seat by using the key.
Remove the prop stay.
Remove the frame covers.
A: Frame cover
B: Fastener
C: Stepped Allen screw
D: Stepped Allen screw
E: Boss
F: Velcro fastening
G: Boss
1. Remove the fuel tank fitting bolt.
2. Lift the front end of the fuel tank and prop it up as
shown.
A: Fuel tank
B: Allen bolt, Washer
C: Prop stay
NOTE:
The engine coolant reservoir is located under
the left side of the fuel tank.

To remove the fastener, push in the center pin
and pull out the fastener.
NOTE:
Set the circle end of prop stay to the steering
stem head nut.
