No Video
If the power is on, but you have no video--in this case, you will need to re-

move all the add-on cards and cables first.
Use the speaker to determine if any beep codes exist. (Refer to Appendix A

for details on beep codes.)
Remove all memory modules and turn on the system. (If the alarm is on,

check the specifications of memory modules, reset the memory or try different
modules.)
If the power is on but you have no video, remove all the add-on cards and

cables.
Use the speaker to determine if any beep codes exist. Refer to Appendix A

Note: If you are a system integrator, VAR or OEM, a POST diagnos-
tics card is recommended.
Memory Errors
Make sure that the DIMM modules are properly and fully installed.

You should be using unbuffered DDR3 memory (see the next page). Also, it

is recommended that you use the same memory speed for all DIMMs in the
system. See Section 2-4 for memory limitations.
Check for bad DIMM modules or slots by swapping modules between slots

and noting the results.
Check the power supply voltage 115V/230V switch.
