Installation Procedures
Installing the CSE-M35S Backplane
SCSI IDs are assigned automatically by the backplane.
1.
Do not set IDs man-
ually on the drives.
See the previous section for SCSI ID jumper settings.
SCSI termination is enabled by default on the SCSI backplane.
2.
Accessing Hot-Swappable Drives
Push the release button located beside each drive's LED.

Lift up on the drive's handle.
2.
Carefully pull the drives out of the storage module.
