6.3 Advanced Setup Configurations
Use the arrow keys to select the Advanced tab and press <Enter> to access the submenu
items.
Caution
: Take caution when changing the Advanced settings. An incorrect value, a very high
DRAM frequency, or an incorrect DRAM timing setting may make the system unstable. If this
occurs, revert to the manufacture default settings.
Boot Feature
Fast Boot
This feature enables the system to boot with a minimal set of required devices to launch. This
has no effect on BBS boot options. The options are
Disabled
or Enabled.
Quiet Boot
Use this feature to select the screen display between the POST messages and the OEM logo
upon bootup. Uncheck the box to display the POST messages. Check the box to display the
OEM logo instead of the normal POST messages. The default is
Checked
.
Bootup NumLock State
Use this feature to set the Power-on state for the <Numlock> key. The options are
On
or Off.
