Chapter 4
Motherboard Connections
This section describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout definitions.
Depending on how the system is configured, not all connections are required. The LEDs
on the motherboard are also described here. A motherboard layout indicating component
locations can be found in Chapter 1.
Review the Safety Precautions in Appendix D before installing or removing components.
4.1 Power Connections
Three power connections on the A2SDV-8C-LN10PF must be connected to the power supply.
The wiring is included with the power supply.
Main ATX Power Supply Connector
The primary power supply connector (JPW1) meets the ATX SSI EPS 12V specification.
Important:
To provide adequate power to the motherboard, connect the 24-pin
and
the 4-pin
power connectors to the power supply. Failure to do so may void the manufacturer's warranty
on your power supply and motherboard.
