ATA(PI) Detect Timeout (Seconds)
Set this option to stop the system search for ATAPI devices within the
specified number of seconds. The options are 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and
35
(seconds). Most ATA disk drives can be detected within 5 seconds.
ATA(PI) 80pin Cable Detection
This option allows you to select the mechanism used to detect the 80-pin
ATA(PI) cable. The settings are Host, Device and
Host & Device
.
Floppy Configuration
Floppy A
Use this option to specify which of floppy drive you have installed in the A
drive. The settings are Disabled, 360 KB 5 1/4", 1.2 MB 5 1/4", 720 KB 3 1/
2",
1.44 MB 3
1/2"
and 2.88 MB 3 1/2".
Floppy B
Use this option to specify which of floppy drive you have installed in the B
drive. The settings are Disabled, 360 KB 5 1/4", 1.2 MB 5 1/4", 720 KB 3 1/
2",
1.44 MB 3
1/2"
and 2.88 MB 3 1/2".
Diskette Write Protect
This option allows you to prevent any writing to your floppy diskette. The
settings are

360 KB 5 1/4", 1.2 MB 5 1/4", 720 KB 3 1/2",
1.44
MB 3
1/2"
and 2.88 MB 3 1/2". The Enabled setting is effective only if the
device is accessed through BIOS.
Floppy Drive Seek
Use this option to Enable or
Disable
the floppy seek routine on bootup.
