1. Lift the lever on the CPU socket:

2. Install the CPU in the socket.
Make sure that pin 1 of the CPU is
seated on pin 1 of the socket (both
c o r n e r s a r e m a r k e d w i t h a t r i -
angle). Install a CPU into CPU
socket #1 first (you may install ei-
ther two or four CPUs).

3. Press the lever down until you
hear it *click* into the locked posi-
tion.

You need a pair of identical 603 clips (shown on left above) for
each
Gallatin 1.9 - 2.8 GHz CPU. You need a pair of identical 603E clips (shown
on right above) for
each
Foster 1.4 - 1.6GHz CPU.
