7-4 Boot
Confi guration
This feature allows the user to confi gure the following items:

Boot Settings
Quick Boot
If Enabled, this option will skip certain tests during POST to reduce the time
needed for system bootup. The options are
Enabled
and Disabled.
Quiet Boot
This option allows the bootup screen options to be modifi ed between POST mes-
sages or the OEM logo. Select
Disabled
to allow the computer system to display
the POST messages. Select Enabled to allow the computer system to display the
OEM logo.
Add-On ROM Display Mode
This option allows the BIOS to display add-on ROM (read-only memory) mes-
sages. Select
Force BIOS
to display a third party BIOS during system boot. Select
"Keep Current" to display the current BIOS information during system boot.
Bootup Num-Lock
This option allows the Number Lock setting to be modifi ed during bootup. The
default setting is
On.
The options are On and Off.
PS/2 Mouse Support
This option allows the PS/2 mouse support to be modifi ed.
The options are
Auto
,
Enabled and Disabled.
