Removal of brake lever from 4-pole and 2-pole performance motors
Preparation
Note!
Switch off the wheelchair via remote control
Instructions
Note!
Suitable work area required!
•
Follow the illustrated instruction for removing the brake
lever from the motor.
•
Rebuild the wheelchair in reverse order once completed.
•
In order to complete this, you must first tilt the chair back,
remove battery cover and remove shrouds.

NOTE: This applies to the 4-pole motors and the 2-pole performance
motors.

Unscrew and remove (A) from the back of the motor
Tightening torque for (A) bolt is 6Nm - 10Nm

Unscrew and remove small screw (B) using the 1.5mm Hex Key
from the brake lever and remove C-clip attached to the bolt using
the flathead screwdriver (using the pliers to refit the C-clip)

Remove brake lever (C) off the brake
