Grounding of Inverter
Because of the transformer-less design of the inverter, the DC positive pole and
DC negative pole of the PV arrays are not permitted to be grounded. Otherwise
the inverter can not work.
All non-current carrying exposed metal parts of the equipment and other enclosures in
the PV power system should be grounded (e.g., PV arrays and inverter). For AC side,
it is better to use a continuous irreversibly appropriately sized conductor bare to
ground inverter.
