POSITION 14. (Heating test)
The wash pump (WP) remains activated, and the heating element is activated. After
around 3 minutes it checks whether there has been a temperature increase in the
NTC. If the result is OK, there will be a beep of confi rmation. If not, the corresponding
pilot lights will indicate the fault. The control then waits for the dial to be turned one
more position to the right (position 15).
POSITION 15. (Draining test)
The drain pump (DP) is activated and the wash pump (WP) and heating element
(Elem) are deactivated. It then tests whether the level micro-switch turns to empty
position. If the result is OK, there will be a beep of confi rmation. If after 60 seconds
the result is negative, the corresponding pilot lights will indicate the fault. The control
then waits for the dial to be turned one more position to the right (position 16).
POSITION 16. (Testing of regeneration valve and detergent/rinse aid dispenser
+ fan)
The detergent/rinse aid and regeneration valve are activated for 1 minute, and all the
other operations are deactivated. There is no confi rmation beep with this test as the
control cannot be sure that the outputs have really been activated (check this physi-
cally by opening the door). The operations are deactivated after one minute.
Important:
If the check of all the positions except POSITION
16 is negative, no confirmation beep will sound. Also, the pilot
lights (depending on model) will begin to flash.
