OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE
CONTROLLER
Based on the outside air sensor value, the outside air
temperature controller, in conjunction with control
relay 1 and control relay 3, determines when heated
cooling air is recovered into the heated space or
rejected outdoors. Refer to Section 2 for more a
more detailed functional description. The outside air
changeover temperature needs set upon installation.
The remainder of settings are made at the factory
and are given for reference and troubleshooting.

This is the temperature of the incoming outside air at
which it is desired to reject all heat of compression
outdoors and use all outside air for compressor
cooling. This must be set higher than 40°F(4.5°C) to
prevent problems with aftercooler freeze up.
Adjusted by setpoint dial.

NDICATOR
This light indicates when the integral relay is
energized. In heat mode, when the temperature
rises above the setpoint, the relay will de-energize
and the indicator light will be off. As the temperature
drops to the setpoint minus the differential setting,
the relay will energize and the LED will illuminate.
