CONFORMITY
With reference to regulation RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) SUEX S.r.l.
declares that all products introduced on the European market meet the following European
regulations, assimilated in Italy by legislative decree nr. 151 dated 25/07/2005:
1) European Directive 2002/95/ED dated January 27, 2003, on the restriction to use the
following hazardous substances in electric and electronic equipment, and thus the items
do not contain concentrations that exceed the acceptable limits for the following
substances:
• Lead
• Hexavalent Chromium (Cr+6)
• Mercury (Hg)
•
Polybrominated biphenyl
(PBB)
• Cadmium (Cd)
• Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)
2) European Directive 2002/96/EC dated January 27, 2003, or WEEE (Waste electrical
and electronic equipment) that sets specific criteria for the collection, handling and
recycling of electrical and electronic waste.
User’s information
1. Waste of electric and electronic equipment (WEEE) cannot be disposed of as
domestic waste but should be treated separated from the latter with separate
collection of the rubbish.
2. Refer to the National Regulations for the proper WEEE disposal.
3. Electric and electronic equipment could have potential hazardous effects on the
environment and human health due to the presence of hazardous substances.
4. The WEEE symbol is present on any device consisting in a crossed bin – as shown
in the picture – with an horizontal bar identifying the electric and electronic
equipment put into the market after August 13th 2005.
5. The consumer of electric and electronics equipment are bound to reuse and
recycle the WEEE.
6. The consumer should verify and make sure of the information reported on the
appropriate publication made by the retailer on the point of sale.
