Unlocking trunk (Sedan)
1)
Trunk opener button
Carry the access key, and press the trunk
opener button. The trunk will be unlocked.
The hazard warning flashers will flash
twice.
NOTE
In the default setting, all doors (includ-
ing the rear gate) will be unlocked when
any of the door lock/unlock buttons is
pressed. This setting can be changed
as shown below. For more details, we
r e c o m m e n d t h a t y o u c o n t a c t a
SUBARU dealer.

When the door lock/unlock button
on the driver

s door is pressed, only
the driver

s door will be unlocked.

When the door lock/unlock button
on the passenger

s door is pressed,
only the passenger

s door will be
unlocked.
When the rear gate lock/unlock button
is pressed, only the rear gate will be
unlocked.

Locking (Sedan and Station wagon)
1)
Door lock/unlock button
Carry the access key, close all doors and
press the door lock/unlock button located
under the door handle. All doors (including
the rear gate) will be locked. The hazard
warning flashers will flash once.
NOTE

If any of the doors or the rear gate is
open, the doors or the rear gate cannot
be locked.

When locking, be sure to carry the
access key to prevent locking the
access key in the vehicle.

If you attempt to lock the doors
while the trunk is open, the hazard
warning flashers flash 5 times to notify
that the trunk is open (Sedan).

Locking rear gate (Station wagon)
1)
Rear gate lock/unlock button
Carry the access key, close all doors and
press the rear gate lock/unlock button on
the right end of the rear gate handle. The
rear gate and all doors will be locked. The
hazard warning flashers will flash once.
