The blade of the thread trimmer is activated by a rotary magnet, to which an
electric release control system (microswitch) is connected. This prevents the
machine from starting when the blade is no longer in its inital position. Thus the
release control system prevents a possible collision between blade and gripper.

4.8.1 Removing and remounting of the thread trimmer drive (Fig. 8)
A t t e n t i o n !
Switch off machine electrically!
1. Remove plug 297.0197.
2. Loosen the screw 171.0421 and remove from blade 184.0096, spring
161.0056 and disc 169.0022.
3. Loosen the screw 172.0520 on the needle plate clamp 115.0124 and
remove the thread trimmer drive.
4. Installation in reverse order.
Ensure the blade is in correct position on the shaft!
